Bio
Matthew Jackman played college golf at New Mexico State University after growing up in Chorley, Lancashire, starting the game at 6 and coming through Leyland, Blackburn, and Southport & Ainsdale golf clubs. He was selected for the Regional England Under-16 training squad, one of just seven boys chosen from his area.
His junior record stood out, with wins at the Lancashire and North of England Schools Under-19 Championships and a run to the last 32 of the R&A Boys Amateur Championship. He carried that form into his college debut at New Mexico State, leading the Aggies with a team-best round in his very first collegiate event.
