Hi, my name is Jack Clarkson, I am a professional golfer who went down the collegiate route in the United States of America. I graduated from William Woods in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, with a cum laude honour.
During my time at William Woods, I was a three time All-American and racked up 5 collegiate victories. I was also an academic All- American on numerous occasions. I also reached the semi final of the Jack Nicklaus award in my senior year. I really enjoyed my time in Missouri and enjoyed travelling to several states to compete, one of my highlights was qualifying for the Patriot All America tournament in Arizona.
Since graduating I turned professional and started my career on the Alps Tour, my best finish on this tour was a tie for fourth place in my second event. I have had a few top 5 results on the 2020 pro tour losing in a playoff for that elusive win. I have also played on the EuroPro Tour as well as more recently on the Clutch Pro Tour. I enjoyed a solid amateur career which included results such as 2nd in the Lancashire County Championships and Berkshire Trophy as well as reaching the Quarter Finals of the English Amateur.
Golf has taken me all over the world and has enabled me to meet some great people. Studying and competing collegiately in America was something that I always wanted to do and I am grateful for the opportunity to do this. I am excited to be associated with US Bound and look forward to assisting future prospects on their journey.
