Introduction.
I’d describe myself as a positive and outgoing person who enjoys being around people and bringing good energy to the team. I’m always looking to learn, improve and get the best out of myself, while helping those around me do the same. I’m naturally competitive and enjoy challenging myself, but I also believe in working hard, supporting my teammates and making the most of every opportunity.

Interview.
What age did you start playing golf and why ?
I first started playing golf when I was around four years old. My dad used to take me to the driving range, and at first I wasn’t that interested, but after joining in a few times I really started to enjoy it. Around the age of ten, I began taking golf much more seriously when I realised I had the potential to become a good player. That’s when my competitive side really came out.
How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years ?
Over the past few years, I’ve developed both technically and mentally. I’ve really started to enjoy the game even more and have learned a lot from my coaches, experienced players and the people around me at JAGA. I also work with a mental coach, which has helped me become more confident and resilient during competition. On the technical side, my iron play, swing mechanics and short game have all improved, and they’re areas I continue to work hard on every day.
Who is your favourite golfer and why ?
Tiger Woods has always been my favourite golfer. I know it’s a common answer, but growing up I found his story and achievements incredibly inspiring, and he’s someone I’ve always looked up to.
What do you intend to study and why ?
I’m interested in studying Business because it’s something I genuinely enjoy, and I think it will give me valuable knowledge and opportunities outside of golf as well.
Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why ?
Outside of golf, I enjoy spending time with my friends, especially playing table tennis at JAGA, where everyone gets really competitive. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy watching football, rugby and cricket. I support the South African national teams, and there’s always a bit of friendly rivalry when South Africa plays against India because of my teammates at JAGA.
