Interview.
What age did you start playing golf and why ?
I started playing golf when I was 10 years old, introduced to the game by my dad, who was always there to help me improve and enjoy it. I grew up playing other sports like hockey and tennis, but when it came time to choose just one, I already knew golf was the one for me.
How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years ?
I’ve improved steadily over the years, always staying competitive and pushing myself to get better. This season has been one of my best, I’m hitting it further and playing with more confidence, which has made the game feel easier. Courses that used to be tough now really suit my game. Looking ahead, I want to keep building on that progress, add even more distance, and aim to win as much as I can.
Who is your favourite golfer and why ?
My favourite golfer is Rory mcilroy, i love his swing because it’s very powerful but he always makes it look easy. I like how much he cares about his family. He’s got a great attitude, always stays positive, and handles the pressure really well.
What do you intend to study and why ?
I’m still deciding, but right now my top two options are business and engineering.
Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why ?
I love being outdoors and playing sports with my friends and family. I’m quite social and like keeping close to the people I enjoy spending time with. I’m always up for trying new sports, even if I’ve never played them before, and I like meeting new people along the way. In the summer, I really enjoy going on holiday, it helps me switch off from golf for a bit and spend some proper time with my family.
