Introduction.

I would describe myself as a hardworking and focused person, both in golf and in everyday life. While I’m not overly competitive by nature, I’m very driven and always looking to improve. I enjoy the process of learning and getting better, and I’m passionate about developing both my game and myself as a person.

I’m not the most outspoken, but I do enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new environments. I stay fairly level-headed and don’t tend to get emotional, which helps me stay composed on the course. I’m always open to new challenges and trying things outside my comfort zone. I also really value feedback and take it on board, as I’m always looking for ways to improve.

Interview.

What age did you start playing golf and why ?

I started playing golf when I was seven years old. Both my dad and my brother played, and I was always keen to follow in my brother’s footsteps and get involved as well.

How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years ?

Alongside improvements in my golf, I’ve spent the last few years, particularly 2025, focusing on developing my mental game, course management, and physical fitness. I’ve worked on understanding my emotions and maintaining composure on the course, which has been especially important during long tournaments and 36-hole days.

I’ve also started tracking my statistics more closely, which has helped me identify areas for improvement and make better strategic decisions on the course. Physically, I’ve focused on building strength specific to my game, including increasing the force I can generate through the ground and improving my upper body strength.

Who is your favourite golfer and why ?

My favourite golfer is Colin Morikawa because I think I am quite like him. He is not a particularly long hitter but is more accurate on approach. I also admire his determination and course strategy, as he rarely takes unnecessary risks, and also how he seems very calm, and his clarity on course.

What do you intend to study and why ?

I would like to study history or business. I’ve always been interested in understanding how the world works and how different people experience life. I find it fascinating learning about what has shaped the world we live in today. If I didn’t study history, I would choose business, as it would help me develop important life and communication skills, as well as give me a better understanding of how businesses operate and are built.

Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why ?

I love reading books, listening to music and watching TV. Going for walks with my friends is one of my

favourite thing to do. I also enjoy studying, and exercising because I find that they make me feel

productive. I enjoy my work and how it gives me the feeling that I have earned something by myself.
