Interview.
What age did you start playing golf and why ?
My father introduced me to golf when I was five years old. He introduced me to the sport and encouraged me to take it seriously. Golf’s challenge and discipline drew me in from the start. My parents’ encouragement fuelled my love for the game, and as I grew older, golf became more than just a sport for me, and the foundation of my long-term objectives.
How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years ?
Over the last few years, I’ve improved substantially as a golfer, both in terms of technique and mindset. My handicap has improved to +3, and I’ve competed in high-level events in Scotland, England, the United States, India and Thailand, giving me important international experience. I’ve also committed to structured training regimens that include Trackman sessions, putting drills, gym workouts, nutrition and running programs. More importantly, I’ve grown in my ability to handle pressure, course management, and maintain mental resilience, all of which are just as important as technical abilities.
Who is your favourite golfer and why ?
My favorite golfer is Rory McIlroy. I respect him for his combination of power, precision, and consistency, as well as the way he conducts himself both on and off the course. I admire his ability to overcome setbacks and remain one of the world’s best players. I also identify with his drive and determination to continue improving as a player, which inspires me to push the boundaries of my own game.
What do you intend to study and why ?
I want to study Business because I believe it will provide a solid foundation for my future, whether in professional golf or golf-related businesses. A business education will provide me with management, marketing, and leadership abilities that will supplement my sports career and prepare me for long-term success in the real world.
Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why ?
Aside from golf, I enjoy fitness training, running, and pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors. Staying active in the gym and running allows me to perform at my best on the course while also developing discipline and endurance. I also enjoy experimenting with new business concepts, such as affiliate marketing, sports-related companies, and dropshipping, because they allow me to mix my love of sports with innovation and leadership. Furthermore, my previous involvement in track and field and lawn tennis shaped my athletic foundation by teaching me speed, agility, and competition, all of which continue to benefit my overall physical development.
